7巻発売から待ちに待った8巻がようやくでました。

前巻とは打って変わって、今回はオール鉄火場におけるガンアクション満載です。
これでこそブラックラグーンの本領といったところでしょうか。
３すくみ、いや４すくみ状態でマグマのように煮えたぎった街ロアナプラ。この戦場を生き抜くのは果たして誰なのか。
レヴィ、ロックに加え、スペシャルゲストの方々も続々参戦。
彼らが登場すると少々ネタっぽくなりますが、そこも併せて好きなんです。

張の兄貴の台詞がいちいち格好良いのはある意味ズルイですが、今回ロックも彼なりに考え、頑張って解決への糸口を導き出そうと奔走します。

さあ、ストーリーの役者は揃った。

あとアニメ第三期の制作が決定したそうで、本当に楽しみにしています。
虚淵先生のノベライズ本も発売されましたのでセットでブラクラ祭としゃれこみましょうか。

この巻に収録されているロベルタ色仕掛けについて拒否反応を示す人が多いようなので私の考えを書きます。
・ロベルタはFARCの元コマンドという設定であり、可能限り全ての暗殺術を習得しているはず。当然、くのいちのように女を武器とした内容のものもあったはず。
・白兵戦で体格にも勝る仕官との戦闘であり、倒す手段を合理的に選択する必要があった。
・若様が壊れるほどの情景として演出上必要だった。
双子、日本編等これだけリアリズムに徹したストーリー展開（設定等がリアルかそうでないかは別の話として）の作品なので、必然的とはいえ嫌な描写もてんこ盛りと思います。そこら辺も含めて楽しめるかどうかではないでしょうか。

今回「ブラックラグーン」8巻を呼んでもっとも印象に残ったのがこの台詞です。「殺しは究極の理不尽だ。」当たり前のことですが、漫画や映画とかでは主人公側に正義があって人殺しがさも正しいような(あるいは必要悪)言い訳がなされるのですが、そして観客である私はついだまされてしまうのですけれど、この台詞でハッとしました。「ああやっぱり殺しは理不尽なんだ。」と。「ブラックラグーン」の世界には正義はなく、登場人物達は己が「悪」だと自覚している。汚い世界だけれど嘘はないと思いました。
