この漫画は、構成もしっかりしているし、安定して面白いです。だけれど、次なる悲劇の予兆みたいなものを匂わされる度に、「ああ、またか」と、正直、うんざりさせられてしまう自分がいるのも確かです。完全に、やめ時を見失ってしまった作品と言えるのではないでしょうか。思うに、星野さんまでも病気にしてしまったことが、最大の敗因なのではないかと、今更ながら考えます。サスペンスの後の、ホッと一息つかせるコトーと星野さんのやり取りが、物語の中で機能しなくなってしまった。代わりにミナチンを投入するも、星野さんをきれいに退場させることができず、なおかつミナチンすら悲劇に巻き込まれる。もはや、こうやって悲劇を繰り返すことでしか成り立たない漫画なのだと悟った時点で、物語を収束させるべきでした。ひとつひとつのエピソードは面白いだけに、残念です。一応、これからも期待を込めて読み続けますが。

柚原のエピソードの終了と新たな展開へと繋ぐ話で構成されていますが
全体的に彩佳よりの話になっていると感じました。

登場する人々が様々な感情を出してる展開はいつもと変わりなく安心して
読めますが、比較的平板な展開とも言えます。

しかし1点だけ気になることが。
この第22巻を読んだ後に、ぜひ第1巻を読み直してみて下さい。
気になる点が分かります。（ネタバレになるので伏せました。）

ブラックジャック的だったコトー先生が
今巻では一度もオペしません！
チラッと診察する程度。
オペシーンよりも描きたい事があったようです。

ある人が行方不明になり島民全員が集結するシーンが
感動的に描かれているのですが
せっぱつまった状況で、
老人も混じっている中、
なぜ同時にあの場所にあのタイミングで集結できたのか
そこに納得がいけず、せっかくの感動的シーンで
？？？？？？？の嵐でした。

花屋の主人に見染められてしまうシーンも
ちょっと余分な気がして
若干、今までのキレが無かったように思います。
次巻に期待です。
