ここ最近は犬夜叉がほぼ一人で敵と戦っていたが、今回は殺生丸と兄弟仲良く!?･･･ではなく兄弟力合わせて戦うシーンが見どころでしょうか。(結局は桔梗に助けられますが。)
桔梗と琥珀が行動を共にしているあたり、かなり意味深だったのですが、それは琥珀の命を助けるためだったんだと判りました。

しかしながら、かごめを含むサブキャラに活躍の場がないのが残念。また犬夜叉とかごめの関係にもう少し進展があってもいいのでは･･･というか進展して欲しいという希望ですね。

殺生丸様が、登場するなり爪を振るい空を飛び、別のきれいどころと振袖で空中戦を披露してくれます。しかも珍しくお怒りになったり御髪が乱れたり、ファンにはたまらない一巻です。魍魎丸につぶされてはみ出す尻尾（と我が愚息は信じている。私はライナスの毛布かと思っていた）もかわゆいです。
ちなみに魍魎丸と肉弾戦を演じる犬夜叉を、抜群のタイミングでアシストするのはこの巻では桔梗です。一方のかごめは、一矢放って「ダメだわ」と諦め、気概を見せません。

長期連載でマンネリ化が進んでいる。
早めに感動的に終わらせた方がいいのでは。
