少年誌のこういった漫画にありがちなご都合主義なストーリーの後付設定ややたらな新技の追加も無くシンプルで破綻もなく大人が読んでも好感が持てる作品です。ヒロインを年上姉さんにしたのも今のマンガ界では結構新鮮だと思われます。

◆〈パティシエ成仏〉編

　▼あらすじ

　 元パティシエの幽霊は、会社社長の御曹司だった!!

　 成仏するよう働きかける良守たちに対し、
　 彼は次期社長である弟に恨まれていると語りだし…。


　▼感想

　　思い出のケーキを通じ、確かめられる兄弟の絆。

　　ラストで、良守が胸中でした述懐「あんな兄弟もいるんだな……」には、
　　自らの境遇を振り返ってみての複雑な感慨がにじみ、次話への導入になっています。



◆〈墨村兄弟〉編

　▼あらすじ

　　良守の兄・正守が墨村家に帰ってきた。

　　兄の突然の帰省に苛立つ良守。
　　そんな良守を挑発しつつ、正守は良守の力を試す仕掛けを張り巡らせる!!

　
　▼感想

　　カリスマ性があり、頭もキレる野心家の正守。

　　何から何まで良守と真逆な正守ですが、
　　彼は正統継承者である弟に
　　深いコンプレックスを抱いています。

　　ずば抜けた才能を持つがゆえ、弟の未熟さが許せず、と同時に、
　　自分をも超える弟の資質を誰よりもわかってしまう―という悲劇。
　　今後、正守が作中でどんな暗躍を見せてくれるか、楽しみです。

なんと、四巻では、墨村家の長男、正守（まさもり）の登場です。
夜行の頭領である正守は、正統後継者である良守を上回る力を持っています。
大きくて強力な結界を五重に張って、良守や時音が苦労する敵を倒したりします。

しかし、どこか裏のある謎な男です。良守の力を知るために、わざわざ烏森に植物の
妖を持ち込んだり、結界師の力なのか、広大な域に影を広げてみたりと、まだ見えぬ
力を持っています。正守の手に無い、正統後継者の証。なのに、この力はどこから
来るのでしょうか。

良守は、これからどのように成長していくのか、正守を見るともっと力を発揮
しそうですが、展開が見えないので楽しみです。
