師匠達の、無茶苦茶な強さに笑い、無茶苦茶な修行に笑い、でも、誰かを守れるくらいに、好きな女の子を守れるくらい強くなりたいと修行に励むケンイチには好感がもてます。（でも、その女の子は無茶苦茶強いのが笑える）
最近の格闘漫画は、平然と殺し合いになったり、殺伐とした世界観が多い中で、このケンイチは、殺伐とした世界でありながらも、ケンイチが「優しい強さ」を求めて強くなっていく姿は、合気道をやっていた私も読んでいて納得します。
基本はギャグでありながら（師匠以外の）格闘シーンは現実味があり、「まっすぐな強さ」を求める主人公の姿に、久々の「正義、友情、勝利」の少年漫画の王道を進む世界観に安堵を覚えました。
魅力的なキャラや、優しい強さを求める主人公に魅せられる、少年漫画の王道です。

月刊誌時代の戦え！梁山泊〜からあらためて週間サンデー版にﾘﾆｭｰｱﾙした第1巻です。
いじめられっ子のケンイチ少年が転校してきた殺し屋きどりの女子高生美羽と出会ったことにより、自分の正義が力をともなわないと通らないことを悟り、前に出て戦うことを決意しました。それは最強の師との出会いの序章でもあった。今時地味なところから着実に書いてる作者だなぁと感心してました。友情・勝利の某紙では闘いがエスカレートすると必ずトーナメント方式になりますが、この作者は最近（22巻以降？）まで我慢しました。
主人公のケンイチ少年と一緒で作者も一歩づつ成長してる様子が伺えます。
線のあらさが劇画調と見えますが基本的には少年マンガの明るさがあって好感が持てます。
ちょっとお色気は洗練されてませんが・・・・（笑）

　この漫画に興味を持ったきっかけは題名からでした。
　史上最強の弟子ってなんだ~！！と思いずっと気になっていましたが、弟子というのが気に入らず(なんだか弱そうで・・)購入には至っていませんでした。
　が、読んでみるといじめられっ子のケンイチが強すぎる師匠達に弟子入りして弱いものを守るために必死で戦うめちゃくちゃ面白いお話でした。
　いつも大体一度は負けるのですが、必死で修行をして大事なものを守るために傷だらけになりながら戦います。
　意気地無しのいじめられっ子が、どんどん強くなっていく様子にワクワクさせられます。
　なんだか人間必死になればなんでも出来るのかもという気にさせられる漫画です。
