　前巻より引き続いての、薫の思春期っぷりが可愛いですねホント。いろいろと皆本に対して妄想をしたり、兵部に本気で怒りつつでも嫌いにはなりきれなかったり……。オヤジ化が少し緩和され、元々好きだった薫をますます好きになりました。これじゃ皆本も、薫ばかり気にしまくりにもなるよねそりゃあ……。
　今巻ではサイコメトラー達の腹黒っぷり、葉やパティの活躍、不二子ちゃんの久々の本気なんかが印象に残ったですかね。そして何より、例の予知が遂にチルドレン達に知られてしまったのが物語的には大きいです。本人達は到底信じられない様子でしたが、ここまでの伏線を見ているにやはりその変心のきっかけは「ブラック・ファントム」なのかしら……？　
　それにしても毎度のことですが、「SUPPLEMENT」のお遊びぶりが何とも笑えます。狙っての開始1ページ目での悠理のネタばれとか、紫穂の両親のアレな実情とか――可笑し過ぎる！でも、巻末の引きでは「か、薫ぅぅぅぅ！？」と思わず叫んでしまうそんな展開で、この落差がしかしいかにもこの作品らしいですね。こうなると次巻の展開がめっちゃ気になる、気にならないわけがない。一刻も早く出してください、マジで！

ついにコミックスの表紙を乗っ取ったパンドラのメンバー。
実はこの表紙の真木・葉・紅葉のポーズは2巻の表紙の紫穂・薫・葵のポーズと全く同じで、兵部と皆本のポーズだけが違う訳だが、この構図には妙に椎名先生のこだわりを感じる。

内容的には、パンドラメンバーとの接触により薫達が自分達の未来を知ったり、ブラックファントムの娘が牙をむいたり、四コマで本編の内容を補完したりしてて確かに面白いのだが、兵部と薫のバトルがあまりにもあっさりと終わってしまったのが唯一の不満。
バトル漫画じゃないからギャグに尺を費やすのも悪い事じゃ無いのだが、ここだけは後1話多くなっても良いからジックリと描いてほしかった。

その代わりに、完全に腐女子と化したパティや戦線離脱して秋葉原のネットカフェに逃げ込んだバレットの言動は最高に面白い。
特にバレットに関しては、非常にシリアスで重い内容も含んでいるのだが、ギャグを入れる事で上手くバランスを取っている。
葉との駆け引きの場面やバレットとの会話の場面など、今巻では賢木がかなりかっこいい事を言っているのだが、元ブラックファントムのオタクパワーが発動するとどんな名ゼリフも台無しにされてかわいそうだ。
とりあえず、早く戻って来い。バレット。

　黒い幽霊が前面に出てきてからは少し控えていたパンドラが戦線に復帰。チルドレンが相手にしなければならない連中が一気に増えます。今までは皆本v.s.兵部の構図が多かったけれど、この巻ではバベルのエスパーv.s.パンドラのエスパーという構図が描かれます。皆本派と兵部派の対決という感じでしょうか。そして、蕾見管理官と兵部の邂逅。やはりこの二人は歴史がある分、ただ対峙していても深みがあります。
　物語に奥行きを与えているのが、意外にも扉の四コママンガ。本編では触れる暇がないエピソードが描かれたりもするので、本編でのキャラクターたちの行動に説得力が増します。四コマで変に暴れさせると世界観を台無しにしてしまう恐れもあるからバランスが難しいと思いますけれど、いまの所この試みは成功している気がします。
