「ここまでくるとネタ切れなのかなあ…」正直言って、６７巻を読み終えた時はこう思っていました。（わたしはコミックスだけで読み進めているので、発売するまで前巻以降の内容を全く分かっていません。）でも、この６８巻を読み終えて、次が楽しみになりました。

「イップスを克服できるのか」、「ギブソンやギブソンＪｒ．のその後」が明らかになります。６９巻では、読者をわくわくさせるあの燃えるような闘志がよみがえると信じています。それを期待させるラストです。

今回の物語では吾郎が燃え尽き症候群みたいになってしまい以前のように闘志溢れる投球が全く見られません。何の目的も見いだせないまま単調なピッチングに終始しています。次回作で吾郎は自分の目的を見つけられるのでしょうか?
以前のように闘志溢れるピッチングを願って止みません。

燃え尽きてしまったのか、吾郎のピッチングに精彩がない。ギブスンの復帰が吾郎に刺激をもたらすか。
