作者の作品への愛がここまで感じられなくなる(作者自身はどう思われているのか知りませんけど)漫画は、はじめて読みました。「昔はよかった」という言葉が本当に似合うマンガです。大好きな作品だけにガッカリです。

途中からかなり劣化してしまった。
この漫画はパン作りに目覚め上京した純粋な少年和馬がライバル達と戦いながらも，真のジャぱんを作るという正真正銘の料理漫画であったはずなのに，次第にパン作り漫画から大きく離れてしまった。
そもそも料理漫画とは，「中華一番！」などを例に取ると，極上の料理を描き出し，それを食す者が幸せの絶頂にいるように表し，見ている読者でさえ舌をそそるような気分にさせる物である。それが，本来の食べる者の“リアクション”である。
ところがこれはお寒いダジャレリアクションを始め，食べると身体がバラバラになったり，空気になったり，貯金箱になったりするという危なっかしいパンを作ったりして，誰が食いたいと思うんだ。何がジャぱんだと言いたい。
この漫画が何処へ向かいたいのかが全くもって不明である。ただストーリーをぶち壊したいとしか思えない。

作中でも自虐的に触れていたんですけど、リアクションがあまりに突飛なものになりすぎて、正直ついていけません。人外が増えていく様は目にあまるものがありました。絵も雑になってるし。
