作者手抜きしすぎ、ウォーゲームやら便利過ぎる修練の門やら余計な設定が多すぎ、バトルに迫力なさすぎ、なによりも最初に述べたが明らかに作者手抜きしすぎやる気ないなら漫画を描くな、けっこー絵や世界観は好きだっただけに残念でならない、これよりもまだ続編の「Ω」の方がワクワクする、安西信行氏よ読者をナメんのもええ加減にせえや

前作、烈火の炎が面白かったので期待した作品でした。

ですが、この漫画は結局何をしたかったのか……。
1〜3巻までは面白かった、ARMの設定も良かったし、世界観もファンタジーで気に入ってたのに。
やはり最大の原因はウォーゲームではないかと思います、烈火でも大会開いてたのにまたですか！？みたいな……
せっかく異世界に来たのだから、もっと世界観を見せてほしかった。
早い話、そんなウォーゲームなんか開いてないで世界中を旅して、その道中にチェスと出会い、戦って強くなってほしかった。
修行は全部ARMで、一日で何ヶ月もトレーニングできるなんて、便利だけどつまらない！
設定は本当にすばらしいのに、どうしてこうなったのでしょう？
キャラクターも微妙です、美形だの美少年だの言われているアルヴィスにも、
美人だと評判のドロシーにもまったく魅力を感じませんでした。
クイーンとの因縁も、想像してたより軽くて残念。
敵のチェスの駒は全員、その強さを見せられないまま負ける、あるいは殺される。

1〜3巻までは良かったので、星一つはそのぶんです。

何より、後半は主人公サイドのほうが悪です。
敵とはいえ、人を一人殺して「やったー」はないでしょう。
子供向けにしては少々残酷で、私はあまりお勧めできません。

・・・まぁとりあえず安西氏はいろんな意味でお疲れ様です。この巻の評価としては絵が
雑ではあるけどやっぱ魅力的だから３０点、ストーリーが新鮮味皆無だけど一応締めては
あるから１０点、おまけが若干豪華で８０点といったとこです。他の人に比べれば激甘、
プリンとケーキを混ぜたぐらいにね。

私が漫画で一番印象に残ったのは平気でチェスの駒が味方を殺すシーン、チェスの駒の一人
ラプンツェル戦。ＭＡＲの対象はおとぎの国を舞台にした設定を好む子供達向きなのに、
こうも残虐なシーンを作るというのはやっぱ納得出来ないんですよ。こういった漫画を
通したメディアが年齢の低いうちから命の軽さを植えつけて、ありえない考え方、
ありえない犯罪を起こすきっかけとなるんじゃないでしょうか？そんな意味ではテーマが
メルヘンとはいえ、１０代の人には決して薦められない。第一かっこいいのは
アームだけだ。素材はよかったんですけどね。

しかし何で手抜きなんてするんだか・・・前作と画力で知名度は高まってきたのにそれを
ドブに捨てるようなこと。その立場をうらやましがる人だって山ほどいるのに。
ファンを裏切る行為を平気でする、私にはそんなモラルの欠片もない事を平気でしでかす
作者の心が理解しかねます。彼が去ったのは当然のことでしょう。

読者を嘗めないでほしい。我々とて作者と同じ人間。同等、あるいはそれ以上に賢い生き物
です。
