鳴海、勝、しろがねの三人が菜の花に囲まれて幸せそうに笑っている…
最終巻の表紙を見ただけで感動してしまいました。
彼らには心から幸せを願ってます。

うしおととらの時もそうでしたが、藤田さんの作品に対する姿勢（愛情）は、
素晴らしいと思います。巻末のコメントを読んで改めてそう感じました。

全く作品のレビューになってませんが、どうしても書きたかったので書かせていただきました。

最後に、やっぱり『笑顔』って素晴らしいですね。最高です。

藤田先生は本当に「気持ちのいい」漫画を描く。

うしおととら同様、読み始めるとついつい時間を忘れ夢中になってしまう。

マサル、しろがね、ナルミ、アシハナ・・個々のキャラクターが皆とても魅力的でパワフル。
敵である最古の四人、オートマータ等も皆魅力的に見えてしまう。

あんなに弱かったマサルが精神的にも肉体的にも成長するさまや、
感情のなかったしろがねの心の成長など、読み手も一緒になり感情を揺さぶられる。

とにかくまっすぐで、ひたむき。
心に訴える力を持った、素晴らしい漫画。

「素晴らしい」この一言に尽きる。
苦痛、苦境、絶望の果てにある「希望、そして、笑顔」。
からくりのごとく緻密に練られた、サーカスの様に華麗な作品。
ドタバタと展開する物語から
作者の哲学、ヒューマニズム、ユーモアが最初から最後まで「溢れ」出て、読者に熱く語りかける。
心熱くなる漫画の最高峰であり、世界に誇れる日本の「マンガ」。
最終巻である４３巻は少し急ぎすぎた感があるが、しっかりと完結しているし、
何より、最後まで作品と読者に対する感謝を忘れない藤田さんの姿勢には頭が上がらない。
老若男女、役職問わず、国籍問わず。すべての人におすすめします。
