１３巻ではウォーゲームの決勝戦が始まり、いよいよ物語はクライマックスへ・・・と言いたいところですが、今まで以上に内容が薄く浅くつまらなくなっております。

バトル冒頭〜前半に主人公チームのキャラクターと敵チームキャラの因縁を紹介→主人公チームの攻撃→あまり効かない→今までの連中とは違う！→敵チームの大技→大して苦労も工夫もせずあっさり回避→何の前振りも脈絡も無く味方キャラが大技を繰り出し勝利、と恐ろしいことに本巻に収録されているバトルは全部こんな感じのパターンです。
バトル漫画というよりも単純な流れ作業、或いはルーチンワークを淡々と読まされている感が否めません。要するに結果が誰にでも予測できるので面白くも何ともありません。この作品に比べれば「烈火の炎」のほうがまだ登場人物達の喜怒哀楽が読み手に伝わってきたし、バトルシーンの盛り上げ方もそれなりに見られた出来映えでした。
カタルシスだの心理的読みあいだの駆け引きの妙だの緊迫感だのというものは一切無く、原作者の安西氏は本気でこの漫画を面白くしようとする意思があるのだろうかと不思議でなりません。

みなさんの言うように、面白くない。
烈火の炎は、結構好きだったんですがね・・
なんか、ストーリーが下手なんですよ。
小学生でもつらいものがあると思います。
なんでアニメ化したんでしょうか・・・・・・

正直この頃はつまらなくなってきてるね、この漫画。
勝つ人が容易に予測できるといってしまえばその通りで････。
先ずフォーゲームではギンタは負けないんじゃないかな？？？
大将が負ければそれで負けなんでしょ？？
じゃぁ、負けるわけにはいかない感じがします････。
厳しい事言うかもしれないんですが、ストーリーが行き当たりばったり感が否めないんです。
横顔多いし、文章少ないし、コマ割りが大きいし････。
烈火の炎の方がストーリーが作りこまれていて、作画もかなり良かったよね･･･。
