4.0 out of 5 stars 単純な勝ち負けではない、苦味を残す決着, 2008/1/4
　アッと驚く仕掛けの連発、想像を絶する知能戦を繰り広げた３回戦・密輸ゲームがついに完結。
　他の方のレビューにもあるように、さすがに原作は、テレビドラマ版とは全く次元の違う、圧倒的に高いレベルでの決着で、読後の興奮がしばらく冷めなかった。
　秋山の知能と、ヨコヤの謀略、単純な勝ち負けではない、苦味を残す決着にしびれた。最後にゲームを鋭く総括して、ヨコヤの顔色を変えた神崎直の成長にも拍手。

　ただ、「南の国のマネー」が「北の国ＡＴＭ」にある、という基本設定は一応頭には入っていても、テンポの早い物語中で、「北の国ＡＴＭ」とか「南の国ＡＴＭ」とかサラッと書かれると、マネーの流れが瞬時に感覚的にわかるとは言い難い（私のカン違いでなければ、北と南が逆になっている箇所もある）。
　その点、もっとビジュアル的にわかりやすくするとか、工夫の余地はあったのではないかな（高度なゲームだから、難解＝欠点とは言えないが）。

　それと、事前にはルールの細部まで説明できないから、仕方ないとは思うけど、いくつか重要なことが「後出し」になったのは否定できない。
　特に、借金をいつ返すか、プレーヤーの意思で決められるかのような描写は、ちょっと納得いかなかった。金を返すのを「辞退する」なんて、日本語としても変だし、事務局があっさり認めるのも不自然。
　「辞退」するなら賞金の方で、それを他のプレーヤーの救済に充て、結果的に負債が残る、という順序ならわかるし、事務局が認めるのも自然だし、そういう風に描くべきだったと思う。
　まあ、ライアーゲームは、借金をいつ返すのか、という点は明確にしないまま進んでいるんだけどね…。（ゲームに参加し続ける間は返済が猶予される？）

　ドラマが先に完結してしまった密輸ゲームですが、その終わり方には賛否のなかでも否が多いようです。そんな方には是非読んでもらいたいのが原作の密輸ゲーム完結編。
　頭脳戦という面でも原作者はさすがだなと思わせる内容でした。ヨコヤの最後の策は私は読めませんでした。

　ゲーム以外の面で特に見て欲しいのはナオの活躍。どんどん強く魅力的な女性になっていますね。ドラマ版のナオの女神のような扱いは私はあまり好きではなく、一人の人間として強い信念を持った原作の方が好きです。作品でもナオにアキヤマ以外の仲間が増えていきます。

　あと「人は信じるべきか疑うべきか」というテーマはやはり簡単に答えは出ないようですね。お互いに影響し合っているナオとアキヤマの今後の変化にも注目したいです。

　次のゲーム内容も、物語も楽しみです。甲斐谷先生、連載再開を楽しみにしています。

この巻で密輸ゲームは完結です。
結果発表までの過程、発表後の新たな事実と、
駆け引きや機転・発想が沢山出てきます。

マネーの移動に関して数字や属性など
ややこしい所は相変わらずですが、気にせずとも読めます。

そして決着後のそれぞれの動きにも注目です。
今後の展開も楽しみな第６巻でした。
