皇国の守護者五巻、遂に発売！
と、いうことで発売日に本屋に行きました。

内容は素晴らしかったです。戦闘は少ないですが、新庄や兵士たちの心理が上手く描かれていました。
笹島や帝国軍人とのやり取りも読み応えがあり、退屈しません。
私は原作は読んでいないので展開は知りませんが、これから盛り上がりそうな雰囲気が随所から感じられます。
だから最後の最後まで本書で完結するとは、夢にも思わず。
しかも噂だと打ち切りとか・・・・・・集英社さん、そりゃないでしょう・・・・・・。

非常に良質な漫画だったので落胆もまた大きい。十巻、二十巻と長く楽しませてくれると思っていたのになぁ。

とにかく、伊藤先生お疲れ様。次回作も楽しみにしています。
願わくば皇国の守護者六巻で会いたいものです。

北領紛争の終結と、捕虜生活を経て内地に帰還するまでが描かれている。
敵将ユーリアとの会見や帰還船上で主人公新城の屈折ぶりが遺憾なく発揮されて、
個人的にはそれはもう楽しめたのなんのって。
伊藤先生の、原作→漫画の消化具合がとても素晴らしいと思う一冊。

掲載雑誌を購入していないので、今回初めて知ったのだが。
なんで「完」なんだ。
これからもたくさん見せ場があって、あのヒトが出てきてこのヒトがこうなって、
と展開を楽しみにしていたのに。それをこの絵柄で読めると疑っていなかったのに、なぜだ。
すごくショック。でも、この全五巻に出会えただけでも良しとしなければ（泣）。
求めない…訳ないだろう。続編求む。
