もともとシチュエーション・ラブコメ「変」で世に出た奥浩哉。
衝撃作「GANTZ」をいきなり休筆したと思ったら（現在連載再開）急にきた本作。

奥浩哉のラブコメモノでは必ず「本人」（変　の奥君、HENの　奥さん）が出ていますが、今度は「お父さん」になってますｗ。

作為的にGANTZとは筆致を変え、手塗りの冒頭カラーページが映し出すのは引きこもり青年の部屋と、その部屋の入り口でマンガ誌を手わたす父親。
息子が「あんたに彼女ができたら部屋から出る」という”無体な”要求をすることにより、なにかダークな物語が始まるのか。。と思いきやじつはお父さんには若くてかわいい彼女がいた！

この辺のどんでん返し的設定の妙は毎回うならされます。そしてお父さん（今回はおいしい役どころｗ）と結婚した彼女とヒッキー息子は天の導きにより二人きりになることに。。。

最初は「女！」とか言ってたひきこもり慎太郎が、１巻の終わりには「はるかちゃん！」と言って泣く。父親の葬儀にも部屋を出れなかったのに。。
だんだん人間らしさを取り戻して来たのかな。
１５歳からの青春をすべて閉じこもって過ごした彼はある意味究極の純情青年、もしくはカンチガイ片思い野郎として描かれ、はるかの一言一言に一喜一憂する様がリアルです。そして奥流の笑いも満載ｗ

なぜメーテルなのか（しかも長音が〜で、普通に検索すると出てこないしｗｗ）慎太郎は鉄郎なのか？導いてあげてるコドモというつもり？などまだわからないことが色々♪
表紙下には「Love laughs at locksmiths」鍵鍛冶達をあざ笑う恋？
早く続きが読みたいですね。

この作者はたぶん巨乳とかデカチンとか、人が電車に跳ねられたりとか、人体が輪切りになったりとか、
そういうのがただ描きたいだけの人で、それが良い方向に影響したのがGANTZ。
このマンガは「ゼロワン」と同じくグダグダに終わる予感。
ストーリーが行き当たりばったりと言うか、全体のプロットとか考えてなさそう。
主人公がイケメンとか、親父とか、デカチンとか、カウンセラーとか、はるかの過去とか、伏線が伏線にすらなっていない。
たぶん読後に残るのは「ロクデナシ オンライン by 韓国」とかそういう単語の楽しさだけだろう。
スッカラカンな内容のマンガだけど、巨乳が好きな人は読んでみてもいいかもしれない。

俺は日曜深夜に朝日放送ラジオで放送されてる北野誠のサイキック青年団内で集英社の漫画紹介するコーナーがあるんスが、それでこの漫画の存在をしりました。北野さんも竹内さんも大変絶賛していてドラマ化もしくは映画化間違いなしとも語っていたのですぐに注文して読み始めました。はっきし言って予想を越える面白さでした。今までなかった新しい感覚のひきこもりラブコメです。ガンツとは違う面白さですので是非買って読んでくださいよ。絵もキレイだし特にヒロインがカワイすぎる。引きこもりの方も引きこもりが理解できないと言ってる真面目な方も読んでみてもいいかもしれない傑作と言えます。少し批判はあるけども読んでください。
