　私は、テレビドラマを先に見てから原作を読み始めた、ミーハーな読者なのだけど、ドラマと原作にはそれぞれの魅力があって、ルールやゲームの決着がわかった上で読んでも、原作は結構面白い。
　原作の絵にも違和感はないしね。

　ただ、マンガで細かいルールを説明するのは難しい面もあって、ドラマで基本的なルールが頭に入っていた方が、原作は読みやすいと思う。
　一方、ドラマは、説明を省略しているところがあって、一長一短あるなあ、というのが率直な印象。

　第１巻は１回戦、１億円の奪い合いだが、ドラマを見ていると、現金を銀行口座に入れて、ゲーム終了直前に引き出すか、小切手にして事務局に返せばいいのに、と思ってしまった。
　マンガを読むと、最初に渡された紙幣のナンバーが指定されていて、渡された現金をそのまま、ゲーム終了後に返さなければならないルールだとちゃんと説明されている。
　それなら、貸金庫は使えても、口座には入金できないよね、とよくわかって納得。

大金を賭けてゲームをするわけですが、ゲームの内容がとても独創的。ルール設定が複雑だけど、それを逆手にとって必勝法で人をはめるカタルシスはとっても大きいと思います。主人公が善人なのも安心できます。カイジの始めのほうに近いので、カイジが好きな人はこの漫画も気に入るんじゃないでしょうか？

相手の心理を読む騙し合いに勝てば多額の賞金を手にすることが出来るゲーム「ライアーゲーム」に参加することになってしまった正直者の話。詐欺師の手を借りてどうゲームを攻略するのか。というのが本作の大体のストーリー。
話自体はとてもいいと思う。騙し合いのおもしろさが伝わってくる。なのに物足りない。最後は正義は勝つというセオリーがちゃんとあって、相手に競り勝ったときの快感もあるにはある。だけど物足りない。
やはりこういう話には予想も出来ない展開を求めてしまうから王道的な流れになるとつまらなく感じてしまうんだろう。かといって王道ではないのでスッキリもしない。なんとなく後味は悪かった。
でもひっぱり方がいいので次も読みたくなった。

話の面白さだけで勝負している素晴らしい作品だと思います。ちなみにドラマ版はオリジナル部分が低レベルなので、お薦めしません。
