久々に面白い漫画に出会いました(｀・ω・'）兄弟が強くなっていく様がこれから描かれると思いますが、途中、色々あるでしょう。。。それは人の死であったり、もしかしたら兄弟対決など、色々な展開が考えられますが、それらを経て兄弟は強くなって、この時代を生き抜く力をつけるのでしょうね。
基本的に、主人公が強くなるさまを描いている漫画は好きですが、結構現実を逃避しているものがありますよね？ですがこの漫画は、まぁそれなりに逃避していますが、あってもおかしくなさそうな感じですね。ビームをうつとかそんなんじゃなく、純粋に刀で。時代背景もまたよしですし、ぜひいろんな人に読んで欲しいですねｗ

高橋ツトムにはこの漫画で出会った。のちに「爆音列島」や映画などにもなった「スカイハイ」の作者だと知ったが、この漫画が一番好きだ。絵が墨絵のような独特なタッチで和の世界観に非常に合っていると思う。
侍を描く時代劇はパラレルワールド的な作品になったり、リアルな歴史漫画になったりする。でも「士道」はどちらでもない。戦国時代の武士の成り上がりの歴史的物語でなく、二人の兄弟の生きるか死ぬかのギリギリの生きざま。殺伐とした空気に息苦しいほどの切迫感。こんな生き方をしなければならない時代がかつてはあったのかと思うとゾッとする。

人は死ぬ。簡単には死なないけど死ぬときは簡単に死ぬ。だけどこの漫画はそんな事実だけを伝えてるんじゃない。やっぱり漫画はエンターテイメントで、生死の狭間ギリギリの緊張感がワクワク感として読めるのがすごい。シビアだからこそおもしろい漫画。

何の予備知識もなく手に取った本ですが、思いのほか大当たりでした。
表紙にビビッとひかれるものがあったのだけど、これが実に面白い。
激動の幕末を舞台に2人の兄弟が「士道」という半ば形骸化しつつある概念を頼りに生きていく様が秀逸です。
ちょっと怪しげな設定もナイスですね。
