　読んで衝撃を受けた。

　いつものように人々が行き交う新宿。看板や人ごみが雑然とした駅前で、黒のダウンコートに身を包み、黒人に扮した和泉が大量殺戮を始める。その描写が凄まじい。通行人は初めは状況が飲み込めず、何がなんだか信じられないといった感じ。いきなりパニックになるのではなく静かに混乱が始まり、それがけたたましい銃声と共に人々を徐々に恐怖に突き落とす。いつも通りに過ごしていた生活空間が一転、阿鼻叫喚の地獄に変わる。

　ここまでリアリティーのある非日常の描写を私は見たことがない。奥氏の描くGANTZの世界はこの日常的な空間から非日常的な状況が起こることへの移りが巧い。仮に大量殺戮や、「星人」と呼ばれる怪物や化け物が宇宙や遥か未来の舞台で出てきても、恐らくここまでの衝撃は受けなかっただろう。

自分には星５つ分の衝撃だったが、あまりに過激な描写が万人受けしないだろうし、またそれ向けでないことを考え４つにした。

人がたくさん死にます。
今まで以上の数の人がたくさん死にます。
新宿という街のいつもと変わらない風景の中で人が死にます。
１人の人間の都合でたくさんの人間が殺されます。

更に増した緊迫感が読む手を止めさせません。
この巻では怪物がでてきません。
人間が人間を殺しているからです。
読む人によっては辛くて読めない位です。

そして作画、構成、コマ割りが相変わらず絶妙です。
コンピューター処理は賛否両論があるでしょうが、この作品に関しては
良い方向に作用していると言えるでしょう。

以上これらの全ての要素が物語の世界観・テンポを作り出し、
今回も素晴らしい作品になっています。
安心してご購入下さいませ。

日本が直接経験した最後の戦争から長い月日が流れ、

戦争があったことすら知らない世代が生まれています。
これは必ずしも良くない事であるとは思いません。
しかし死という言葉の重みは薄らいでしまった様に思います。
時代は変わり、殺すと言う行為はスタイリッシュな作風で描かれる芸術作品になりました。
それがお金の流れを産み出します。

大切なことはあなたがこの作品を読んで、どう感じるかなのかもしれません。

この１１巻は読んでる間は震えが止まらず、読み終わった後はしばらく放心状態だったのを憶えています。その後に読んだ漫画の内容が全く頭に入らないほどの衝撃を受けました。変装した和泉がＧＡＮＴＺに行く為にどんどん人を殺していきます。ああ何て惨い事を、警察は何をやってるんだ早く助けにこい、うわっ殺られる！とその時「ペタッ、ペタッ」という音をたててそこに現れたのは、男の中の男！正に真の男「風大左衛門」風は和泉を倒すためにたった一人で立ち向かいます。これ以上死人を増やさないため、それとも自分より強い奴と戦いたいという野性の本能がそうさせたのか！？理由はどうであれそこに現れた救世主は読者の心に希望の光をもたらせてくれるでしょう。こんな男見たことない！風大左衛門に拍手喝采です。
