「オークションハウス」は１９９０年からヤングジャンプに掲載されたヒーロー漫画。絵画偽作の技術と美術品に関する天性の炯眼、そして強靱な肉体の持ち主“柳　宗厳”が両親を殺した殺し屋や美術界のブラックマーケットに暗躍する悪の組織、美術界の”巨悪”と対決するといったストーリー。「ギャラリーフェイク」的な世界に小池一夫氏独特の男女観、バトル観が加えられ、それに、ＰＯＳＥＲを使った叶精作氏独特の女性画が加わり、強烈な印象を残す漫画。この三つがあわさるというのはある意味夢のトリコロール。強烈にはまる人にはたまらない漫画。嫌いな人は強烈に嫌いになるかも。その本巻、グッゲンハイム財閥の遺産を相続したリュウ。屋敷に今まで愛した女を集め、終の棲家を求める旅に出たが…
