5.0 out of 5 stars 仕事に疲れたお父さん、読んでみてほしい。, 2004/7/1
これに収録されている、ずっとまじめに生きてきたごく普通のお父さんが突然悲劇に見舞われるお話、これがすごく好きで買いました。
仕事に疲れている人、家庭の居場所を感じられない人とかにこのお話を読んで欲しい。

この作者さんらしい、何をしようと何を想おうと「報われない」現実がある、そんな表現の多い短編？集です。

他の漫画みたいに頑張っても救われないけど、それでも絶望の中に垣間見える「何か」が、この人の作品の良さであり中毒性だと思う。

最後ハッピーエンドが見たい人は読まないほうが良い、全編ダークです。
ハッピーエンドが見たい人は同作者さんの「変」シリーズなんかほのぼのできてお勧めです。

ここに在るのが、奥浩哉の中で最も印象の強い作品群かもしれない。
収録作
「黒」正しくあろうとしたのに職を妻を最愛の息子を、ついには人間であることすら失い、なにもしてくれない残酷な天使に導かれて（いや、導いてもくれないか。割と見てるだけかも）不条理な迫害を受け続ける男のグロテスクで壮絶な戦い。むごさの中に灯る最後の明かりは胸に刺さった。うまいなぁ。
「へん」「変」のリメイク。SEXしたらなんか感染して女になっちゃいました。誰かにうつしたら治るかも（この場合は他の男とSEXして）という話。
「宿」かわいい女の子型の宇宙人に寄生されたオタクの男の子がいじめにめげず動画を描き、女の子の命を守るためにがんばる話。
「変」どっかに揺れる乳首の残像をトーンで表現したのはこの作品が最初だって作者が描いてたような・・・そ、そうなんですか（としか）作品の意味を変えてしまう最後の1ページは最初の単行本版にはついていなかったかも。
「観察日記」中学二年生の主人公のつける観察日記。観察の対象は押し入れの中に閉じ込めてある、誘拐して輪姦した同じクラスの女の子。実際に拉致だの監禁だの暴行だのが頻発している現実、それを一番醜い姿で濃縮したような毒のような一篇。でもね、作品として見ると×××で××××を××××るクライマックスと、エンディングは胸の悪くなるおもしろさ。
読むなら根性入れてどうぞ。

週刊ヤングジャンプで好評連載中の「ガンツ」。
その作者である奥浩哉先生の、初期の短編作品が多数掲載されています。

こちらの「黒」は残酷描写ありのハード路線です。
理不尽さ・不気味さなど、今連載しているガンツに通じるものがあります。
この短編集では人間の内に秘める「黒さ」がよく描かれています。

また、奥先生のデビュー作である「変」も掲載されているので、
ファンの方は絶対チェックしましょう。

スクリーントーンやベタ塗りの使い方などが特殊で、
作者は影の書き方にこだわりがあるようです。
