今巻では「バクマン」に出てくる作品の内容をそのまま見ることができます。
作品ごとに小畑先生が絵柄を変えていて、「よくこんなに器用に描き分けられるな〜」と驚かされます。

内容も毎回濃くて、読むのに非常に時間がかかります（笑）。
価格以上の内容がある。
インタビューで「マンガは展開が早ければ早いほどいい」とおっしゃってましたが、それを実践されている感じです。

また、カバーを外すと着色前の線画が見れますが、着色後とのギャップがすごい。
プロの何たるかを見せつけてくれます。

いろいろな側面から面白い巻でした。

サイコーとシュージンのコンビはいよいよジャンプ連載の懸かる金未来杯に挑みます！

夏休み中に約束の下書きが出来なかったシュージン。
二人は袂を分かつことを決めます。
別々に担当編集と相談する二人。
ところが、別々に話作りを進めているはずの二人の作品は、
同じ「推理モノ」！
それが明らかになった時、二人は大きな試練を乗り越えて再びコンビを組みます。
そして金未来杯!!
ジャンプお得意のバトルものではないのに、ぐいぐいと読ませるこの魅力！
それはこの物語が少年たちがなりふり構わず夢へと向かって邁進する様を描いてるからでしょう。
孫悟空もルフィも同じです。
各々が夢を持ち、それに向かってがむしゃらに突き進んでいくからこそ、面白いのです。
バトルものとは少し毛色が違いますが、夢をもぎ取ろうとする姿が見たい方は是非!!

　連載当初、マンガの製作や連載に関する裏話のようなものばかり紹介するマンガかと思っていました。ですが２巻以降、少年漫画らしい展開へ。

　誰が勝つか分からない、ライバルとの勝負はどうなるのか気になる、だから先が気になってページをめくってしまう。そんなバトルものやスポーツものと共通する熱いものが詰まっています。

　漫画連載までの流れの裏側を知ることが出来たり、恋愛部分も楽しめたりと色々充実した内容の一冊
