遺体をほぼ全て手中に収めた大統領が、いよいよジャイロ達を始末するために動きます。ジャイロが刺客と戦う中、ジョニィは何者かに銃撃されてしまいます。今回の巻はジョニィ、ウェカピポ、Dioのそれぞれの視点から描かれる形です。一体誰がジョニィを撃ったのか?3人の視点からは不可解な「矛盾」が導き出されます。スタンド能力の見当もつかないまま、ウェカピポとDioが大統領と対峙。決戦が始まります。

「ジョジョ」シリーズのラスボスの能力が披露される時、いつも謎と緊張に満ちた空気がありましたが、今回も抜群に発揮されていました。これぞ荒木ワールド。あと余談ですが大統領が格好良くなり過ぎてました。初登場時のチビデブとはもはや別人です。

第3部から始まった、スタンドバトル。 Dioの世界、吉良のバイツァ・ダスト、ディアボロのキングクリムゾン、プッチ神父のメイド・イン・ヘブンの先制攻撃の脅威にみんなは大汗をかき、パニックになります。 そんな状況下でも絶望せず、立ち向かっていく戦士達がとてもカッコ良く、一番、大好きなシーンでもありますし荒木先生にしか出来ない展開だともおもいます。 今回は時間遡る八分前から始まる大統領の未知の能力とそれに立ち向かう2人の戦士、ジョニィ、ジャイロ、ルーシーの今後の行動が気になる巻でもありました。ウェカピポに決断を迫らせるシーンから大統領への鉄球攻撃は鳥肌もので「遂に始まったか!」と震えました。

さっぱり分からない！

どういう攻撃なんだぁっ！
大統領が、ついに単独で外に出て
スタンド攻撃を始める。

ディオすらも手玉にとって。

どんな攻撃を仕掛けているスタンドなのか
さっぱり分からない。
なぜ複数の人間が、同じ行動をとっているかのような
錯覚を起こさせるのか？

それを他人が見ていても
同じ人間ではなく角度によって違う人に見える。
まるでパラレルワールドである。

この謎解きは、次巻へ持ち越された。

気になる、気になるぅ〜っ！
考えても無駄無駄無駄無駄無駄！
荒木先生にしか想像しえない攻撃なんだろうきっと。
