24巻も相変わらずアニメスタッフの胃痛と不眠の種を提供する銀魂ですが、
下ネタでコーティングされた物語は、友情と愛情のハッピーエンドを描いた秀作揃いです。

文通編は「見知らぬ若者」が手紙を通じて友情深める「始まり」の物語であるのに対し、
老犬編は「長年連れ添った老人と犬」が死を通じて絆を深めながらも別れていく「終わり」の物語になっています。
対になった2つの物語は、相手への誠実な思いがあれば、始まりも終りも同様に幸せであるということを伝えてくれます。

読切りは、ラストシーンの鮮やかさが秀逸な名作です。
捻じれた設定を外してみたらラブコメ王道だったという、見事なハッピーエンドでした。

この漫画は笑わせて人を幸せにしてくれます。

人間の不器用さが臭くて泣かせてくれます。
人間がきちんと描かれているので狙った悲劇やお涙頂戴ではない気がします。

登場人物が実に人間らしいんです。

なので感情移入が簡単で、どこにでも居そうな女の子に、おっさんに少年を書くのが本当に上手いと思います。 (キャラ構成力はセンスを感じます)

いつも思うが銀魂で死ぬゆく人間は誰一人 「暗くない」 。

最後まで、信念を貫ける人間がそろってると思います。

確かに傍目から見たら馬鹿馬鹿しいですが、現代にはそんな意地に似た信念を貫き、生き通す人間はいるんでしょうか。
なぜか深く考えさせられました。

ジャンプで唯一、愛と勇気と感動とそして「笑い」を与えてくれます。

空知ここに極まれりな24巻でした。

他の漫画には無い 「読了感」と「余韻」が素晴らしいと思います。

キャラクターが一本筋の通った信念を有しているのは重たい過去を背負っているからである。一回限りで登場する老人や犬でさえ深いキャラクター設定がなされている。重たい過去があり、そこから目を背けずに行動しているからこそ、過去が明らかにされていない時はギャグになるような行動も読み終わってみると感動的なものになる。
記者はマンションのだまし売り被害に遭い、売主の東急不動産（販売代理：東急リバブル）と徹底的に戦った経験がある（参照：東急不動産の遅過ぎたお詫び）。このスタンスは現在でも変わらないし、変えてはならないものと考えている。
そのような記者にとって信念を貫く『銀魂』のキャラクター達は共感が持てるし、眩しくもある。目の前の敵とひたすら戦うだけで、状況が変われば過去の敵も何故か味方になってしまうような戦闘漫画とは一線を画す面白さが『銀魂』には存在する。

本編の銀魂はもちろん、今回は『13』がよかった!藤枝主水って…名前がいいです。こっちも殺し屋みたいな感じな名前だと思います。時代劇好きな人にはツボな名前ですよ。
