最初に19巻は面白い！
そして、この19巻は今現在の｢銀魂」の良い所と悪い所が全部わかりやすく出ていると思う。
１話完結のギャグ銀魂を求めている読者は、この19巻に不満を持つかもしれない。
また、たまにはシリアス長編銀魂を読みたいと思っている読者には、この19巻は最良の巻となるだろう。
まず最初にギャグ風味から入り、どんどんシリアス展開、時々ここぞという時にギャグがかまされるシリアス銀魂が好きな方には、たまらない巻だ。
やっぱり、どーなってるのかわからない構図の絵がある。
やっぱり、文字多すぎなページがある。
やっぱり、ちょっとひねた自分には「お涙頂戴じゃね？」と感じてしまうシーンがある。
それでもやっぱり、いい。すごくいい。
19巻を読んで、やっぱり｢銀魂」は週間少年ジャンプに連載されるべき作品だと実感できた。
これまでの巻を読んで「銀魂」は下品だとか、下ネタ多すぎと不快に思った方もいるだろう。
その点について正直世間のおっさんの下品さの荒波に慣れておくのに丁度良いと思っているが、この巻の下ネタは高度でほとんど無いと言ってよい。

尚、赤マルジャンプから３万字インタビューが掲載されているが、すべてではない。つまり、実際に赤マルを購入した人にだけ作者がどの部分をコミックス化にあたって掲載したくなかったかがわかる。例えば、子供を何人欲しい？とか。だから赤マル購入者はがっくりしないで。

というわけで、作者自身が「18巻で終わるくらいが丁度いいじゃん？」と言っている作品の19巻を読める喜びを素直に分かち合おう。
まだまだ、いけると思わせる19巻。

今回は真選組長編のみの収録。
新キャラ伊東の登場と河上の出現、そして真選組最大のピンチ。

近藤が慕われる本当の理由、珍しく熱い沖田、そしてとうとう壊され始めたけど真っ直ぐな土方(色んな意味で)

ギャグに始まりシリアスに突入し最後にしんみりさせる…よくあのスタートで長編としてまとめられると感心する反面、新キャラである伊東を長編前に登場させておいてくれればとも思った。そのほうが読者にとって長編への読み込みが変わると思うし、伊東への感情移入が深まったと思うので勿体無い。


個人的に著者は良い意味でも悪い意味でも、ありきたりだけど非常に素直な漫画を描くと思うが、それを改めて感じさせる長編。

簡単なことすら難しく描く漫画が増える中で、簡単なことも難しいことも銀魂節で素直に描くこの作品への好感は高まった。
文字量は多いけど(笑)

銀魂は長編より一話ごとの絶妙なコメディが好きだが、これはこれでおもしろい。
少なくても同誌のブリーチやＮＡＲＵＴＯよりはこちらをお勧めします。
