REBORN!に関しては賛否両論が飛び交っているようです。
確かに同人的要素はなきにしもあらずですが、それよりも主人公の想いが明確になってきたあたりが、非常に評価できるかと思います。
現実的にこのような展開はありえませんし、正直個人的にギャグの時には、ギャグ自体はなかなか面白かったんですが結局何が言いたいのか。
つまり作者自身の主題が今一よく分からなかったんです。
ですが、黒曜編や、このリング争奪戦を通して、主人公である沢田綱吉がどうしたいのか、というところが非常に明確になっているように思います。
少年漫画として、一貫した信念と言うものが描かれている漫画は貴重ではないでしょうか。
無論作者の方自身の絵も格段に上達していますし、今後の展開に期待できると思います。

また今回は、番外編も読み応えがあったような気がします。

今後、作者がどのような形で主人公。またそれを取り巻く守護者や、他の面々の思いを描いていくのか、楽しみです。
期待をこめて、★5つです。

絵はとても綺麗だと思いますね。カラーもうっとりしちゃいます。
あ、笹川兄、表紙おめでとう。

指輪編大詰め。
多少古典的な表現もみられますが、漫画ですしね。
絵も好き嫌いがあると思いますが、漫画が全部自分好みの絵なわけじゃないので、しょうがないかと。
描き手が女性か男性かだけでも、作画というのは変わってくるものですし。
そこは「漫画が好き」か、「キャラが好き」かの違いじゃないでしょうか。
純粋に漫画を楽しめれば良いんじゃないですかね。

腐女子向けとよく言われていますが、作者が女性だし、多少そういう目で見られても仕方ないんじゃないかと。
しかし、そういう目（「腐女子向けだから嫌」みたいな）でばかり見ているいる人は如何なものか。

私個人としては、楽しめているので星5つ。

展開にちょっと矛盾点があったり、ギャグ編・黒曜編・リング編とこれまで三度方向転換しましたが、それでもこの作品をなんとなく憎めません。
確かに単行本で全体を通して見ると、読みにくかったり、ありきたりなところもありますが、本誌で毎週一話一話読んでいくのはとっても楽しいです。
本誌で読んでいるときは、ほとんど展開が読めなくて、先が楽しみなんです。
単行本で全体を通して読むといろいろよくない感想も出ます……そこはリボーンの欠点ですね……。
でも、毎週一回の短い話のなかの密度が大きくて、私はすごく満足しています。

あと、腐女子向けとよく言われますが、私はあまりそうは感じられません。
作者さんは、いわばフィーリングで、描きたいことを自由に描いているのかなと思います。
