2.0 out of 5 stars 設定の矛盾さが目立つ作品, 2007/2/15
13人の隊長の一人でしかなかった藍染の手下であるアランカルに手も足も出ない他の死神たち。
強さの設定が崩壊している。
また修行の描き方が当初尸魂界へ行ったときよりも乱雑。
何をしてどうして強くなったのか、また仮面の軍勢のキャラたちをほとんど描くこと無いままアランカルとの戦いに挑むようになるなど、薄っぺらさを感じる。
設定や専門単語の多さも「カッコよさ」を演出しているためだけに見え、薄っぺらさに拍車をかけている。
ルキアを救った時点で話を終わらせるか、ショートストーリーを混ぜしばらくアランカル編は熟考期間を置いてから執筆した方が良かったと思う。

ＢＬＥＡＣＨにかぎらず前作ゾンビパウダーの頃からこの作者はキャラのデザインやジャケのセンス、どれをとってもジャンプの中では秀逸な存在でした。実際、ソウルソサエティ偏までは各々のキャラの心や姿勢が鮮明に感じ取ることが出来ていたのですが、一度に大量に新キャラを登場させてからは「何がＢＬＥＡＣＨを通して伝えたいのか」全く分からなくなりました。唯一救いなのがアニメのＯＰやＥＤがそういう良さを映像として演出していることくらいか？

戦闘展開がこの頃ワンパターン。

虚化の強さがイマイチ伝わらない。

それぞれが持ってる武器の形状は異なっているが、あまりそれが生かされてなく、「なんかおかしな武器から凄い物が出てるなぁ」くらいの感想しか抱かない

母の敵だった虚も親父が倒しちゃうし…親父死神だし…。もうなんでもあり。

最近は全く面白くない。卍解出現の辺りまでは楽しかったのに('Д`)
