２部に入ってから賛否両論のある『デスノート』ですが、２部の開始時点では私もポカーンな展開でしたが、魅上が登場してから物語の展開に締まりができたような気がします。その点では１部とはまた異なった展開で面白いと思うのですが…、Ｌと月との攻防戦が２部ではないのが残念ですね。

『デスノート』は基本的には心理＆頭脳戦です。１部ではその両方があったわけですけど、２部では主に頭脳戦がメインでしょうね。でも、私自身、左脳人間ですので嫌いじゃないです、こういう展開。

さらに、ニアがいいですね。淡々としていながら、時に冗談を交える（11巻の冒頭です）。ジャンプでもちらちらと今現在の展開を追っていたりするんですが、ああ見えていてニアは結構パッションある奴なんで好きです。

なんだかんだ言っても、絵は小畑クオリティー。星5つです。

デスノートは、第一部の月ＶＳＬが一番面白かったと言う人が多いですす。又、第二部は第一部に比べると緊張感が少なく、つまらないと言う声もあります。
月ＶＳＬが一番面白かったのは僕も同感ですし、第二部が第一部より「は」劣っているというのも否定しません。
しかし、普通に読めばこの巻、第二部全体もとても楽しめる漫画だと思います。
この巻はそれほど大きな動きはなく、月、ニアそれぞれが相手のことを探ったり、会う時や殺す時、逮捕する時などの策を練りつつの展開となります。
一見すると地味にも思えますが、次の巻を読むとこの巻があったから、話を盛り上げることができたのだと僕は思いました。
「お前の策は読めている…必ずこっちが勝つ」という両者とも自身満々のセリフや表情を見て、多分こっちが勝つだろう、などと予想、と言うより半分確信していたんですが、見事に裏切られました。
僕が鈍いだけかもしれませんが、中々先が読めない展開は最初の頃から継続されていて、そこも面白い所の１つだと思います。
最後のほうと１２巻の一気に状況を高めていく展開も、今までの話と絵の綺麗さが引き立てています。
そこを考えるとこの巻もとても内容が深くて面白いです。
第一部で終わったほうがよかったと言っている人もいますが、この巻と１２巻を見ると、結果的にこれで良かったんじゃないかな、と思うようになりました。

序盤のスリリングな展開は良かったが、途中から一気に失速した。
少しの矛盾も生まないようにと、次々に付け加えられる細かい設定が
物語の躍動感を完全に殺してしまったと思う。
ただ、ラストに向けてグイグイ引っ張る演出と絵柄の天才的な精密さは
マンガの雰囲気作りに大きく貢献している。
