司法の塔、エニエスロビーの戦いが激化する第40巻。
奪われたものをすべて取り返すため、麦わら一味＋フランキー一家＋船大工の戦いが始まりました。
海列車の中で立てた作戦を全く従わず、一人で先にエニエスロビーの中へと突っ込んでいったルフィは、以前戦ったCP9の一人、"牛"ことブルーノと遭遇します。
以前は全く歯が立たなかった六式使いに互角に渡り合うルフィ。
そして、仲間への強い思いとともに発動させた『ギア２』。その圧倒的な速さと強さはまさに圧巻の一言。

さらなる『ギア』の存在も触れつつ、次なる41巻はロビンの過去編。彼女が悪事に手を貸してまでも求めた"夢"と、これまでルフィ達とどこか距離を置いてきた理由。
その切ない胸の内がついに吐露されます。

まだまだ続く麦わら海賊団んの冒険物語。
いつも単行本が発売されるたびにわくわくしながら手に取ってます。
「仲間との友情」、それを強く再認識させてくれる作品であり、ルフィの仲間を想うセリフ一つ一つが心に響いてくる大作です。

ギア２の強さとかじゃなくて
ギア２を使う前のくだりが純粋に好きです。

何も考えていないようで考えている主人公
表立って悩む青い主人公より、魅力的に感じます。

早く先が知りたい・・この漫画は本当に今まで無いくらいそんな気分にさせてくれます。今回凄いと思ったのは全てのキャラが確実に活躍してること、役に立つのかと思ってたフランキー一家・キングブル・ガレーラ等、とにかく皆がルフィたちのために命を懸ける。そう、細かいキャラまで全てが無駄なく描かれている。そしてルフィが更に進化する。理屈はまだよくわかってないが主人公が強くなるとワクワクする。確かにベタな展開と思われる方も居るでしょうが、それでも自分は大好きな漫画です＾＾
