この7巻で、Ｌと月(ライト)との頭脳戦の結末が見れます。
私は、この7巻だけを購入して先にラストを知りましたが、既にテレビアニメを観ているのであれば、4巻〜7巻を読むことでスッキリ出来ると思います。

私と同じように、他の方のレビューを参考にされて7巻のみの購入をされる方もいらっしゃるかもしれませんが、7巻だけだと話を把握するのにちょっと無理な箇所もあります。
ストーリーを楽しむ上でも、勿体無いですから、4〜7巻の纏めて購入がベターですね。

死神の使い方も巧く、Lとの頭脳戦など緊迫感があり、追うものと追われるもののｽﾘﾙを楽しめたが、良く考えると、主人公の月は、最初はﾉｰﾄを社会のために使おうとしていたが(悪には変わらないが)、途中から追い詰められてLの抹殺に全神経を使い、この巻を境にただの絶対悪の利己的な殺人鬼になり代わっていった感じがします。したがって、この巻以降にはｻｽﾍﾟﾝｽや頭脳戦が希薄になっていくということに納得でき、この巻あたりで巧く完結できれば全体の完成度はもっと高かった気がしてなりません。

ああこういう展開ですか…。ここでエルがああなったのは物語としての完成度を随分と高めたかと思います(エルファンの罵倒が聞こえるのは気のせいか？)。判断材料が少ない分エルのほうが圧倒的に不利ですね。というよりキラより少ない判断材料でここまで推理したのがエルのすごさなのでしょう。条件が公平なら間違いなくエルが勝っていたでしょう。
ここでエンドでも十分いいと思いますが、最終巻のエンドのほうが"DEATH NOTE"によりふさわしいと私は思います。
まあ自分の目で確かめて判断して下さい。
