この終わり方に納得しない人は多いと思う。え？まだ続くでしょ？と。
これから主人公と彼を取り巻く人物達がどう関わり、刺激し合い、更なる成長を成すのか。
最後まで追わないストーリー判断はSlamDunkと似ている。
ここであなたの大好きな主人公達は、この辺で突き放しても大丈夫、
それはあなた（読者）自身が判っているのだから、と諭されているのだと私は思う。
アキラからプライドを、ヒカルから自分を信じる力を、佐為からは純粋すぎる愛を教わった。
そして三人からは、神の一手を追求する揺ぎない向上心を見せつけられた。
大袈裟かも知れないが、私にとって一生のうちに出会わないと損をした作品には違いない。

「遠い過去と遠い未来をつなげるため」 この作品の核心の部分だと思います。佐為も遠い未来でまた誰かに巡り会って…。最近の漫画で一巻から最終巻まででこれほど一貫性のある話をかけている漫画はあまりないと思います。
ホント名作です。感動をありがとうございました

ヒカルの碁、最終巻です。この最終巻にたどりついたとき
小畑先生の圧倒的な画力はヒカルとともに神の一手に近づ
いてるかのようです。絵を描くことが好きな人にも見ても
らいたい作品です。「この人の絵キレイだね」そう素直に
いえてしまいます。
ほったゆみ先生の作り上げた原作と小畑先生の絵の素晴ら
しさは感動すら与えてくれます。

小畑先生の次回作DethNote（デスノート）にもつながる事
ですが週間少年ジャンプストーリーキング賞での優れたネ
ームを画力のある作家さんが絵をつけています、だからこ
そ
ヒカルの碁はストーリーもキャラクターも大変面白くそし
て碁の魅力に不思議と引き込まれてしまいます。スラムダ
ンクを読んだ後バスケットがしたくなるように、ヒカルの
碁を読んだら自分も碁をうってみたくなります！！スラム
ダンクもヒカルも当時はあまりしられていなかったバスケ
ットと碁を題材にしたところも似てます。

残念ながらこの２３巻でヒカルの碁は終わってしまいます
が、もしもみなさんが碁をうってみようと思えたら、きっ
と碁の上達とともにヒカルの碁もみなさんの碁の中で続い
ていくように思います。
