なぜこのマンガはこれほどまでに面白いのか？
小学生のころ、とてつもなく面白かったという記憶から、もう一度読んでみたところ、また夢中になって読んでいる自分に気づいてしまいました。
特に、第一巻から第二巻にかけては、いかに作者が緻密に計算してこの作品に取り掛かったかが今になるとよくわかりました。

それ以降は、悪者の登場と戦闘、さらなる悪者の登場と今までの悪者との融和というパターンの反復だとわかっているのですが、いくら戦闘が激しくなっても失われない作品独特の明るさのためか、まったくうんざりすることなどなく読んでしまいます。

それから、最初のあたりではよくでてくる妙に幼いエロティックな表現（シェンロンに向かって「ホカホカのパンティーが欲しい！」と叫ぶ場靡?は最高です）は、今見ると、こういう幼年期的なセクシュアリティの命じるままに書ける人って意外にあまりいないな、と感心してしまいます。
そして、絵の圧倒的な巧さ。

これに関してはなんのコメントも必要ないでしょう。
それだけに、作者が最近、あまり活動していないのは残念です。

日焼けしてしまったコミックに見切りを付けて買い換えました。
完全版と銘打っているのに、コミックの後ろにあった読者とのＱ＆Ａのコーナーが割愛されているなど、ちょっと不満に思う点があった。
あえてその分の星を引きました。
タイトルにあぐらをかかずに、もう少しサービスしても良かったんじゃないかなって思います。

それはそれとして、本当に懐かしく面白いですね。
アラレちゃんの頃のギャグセンスが良い感じで残っている序盤が好きです。
本のサイズも紙質も良くなっているので、集めなおすのも良いかと思いますよ。
