　ジョジョの奇妙な冒険第五部では、さまざまな”コンビ”が登場しますが、この巻に登場するプロシュート兄貴と弟分ペッシは、際立って素晴らしいコンビです。プロシュートの台詞を、一字一句逃さず読んでください。ギャングとしての心構え、栄光ある人間としての心構えを持ち、ペッシを引っ張り、鍛え、押し上げる兄貴と、真にその言葉を理解したペッシの成長を堪能でき、一方プロシュートのグレイトフル・デッドと覚醒したペッシのビーチ・ボーイに苦戦しながらも立ち向かうブチャラティとミスタの、ギャングとしての凄みを見ることができて、最初からラストまで本当に胸躍る面白さです!!

　サブタイトルの”偉大なる死”（グレイトフル・デッド）という言葉は、直接関係はないんですが、あとあと第五部において重要な意味をもってくる言葉だと思います。”真あるもの”のぶつかり合いが熱いです。是非どうぞ!!

ブチャラティのカッコよさ大爆発の巻ですね。そして、敵キャラながら人気のあるプロシュート兄ぃ登場!兄ぃの瀕死の状態でのスタンド能力発動には、信念の強さに心打たれました。まさにジョジョにふさわしい強敵って感じですね。5部はジョルノよりブチャラティのバトルの方が印象的ですよね。ブチャラティが主人公かってくらいに。荒木先生はブチャラティがお気に入りなんだろうなーと思わせる巻です。

個人的にはこの巻は長い長いジョジョの歴史の中でも一番おもしろいと思う。仲間が全員倒れた今、ブチャラティはプロシュート、ペッシの最強のコンビにどう挑むのか！？
ブチャラティは部下を守り任務も遂行できるのか！？
マジ必見です。家宝にしたいです。
