一見何の関係も無さそうな人達が実は「圓城さん」という美しい少年を中心に水面下で繋がっている…という構図は同じく、くらもちさんの「チープスリル」を連想させますが、この人のこの行動が後に別の人の話に影響して…など彼らの線がやがて一本に繋がっていくのを追って行くのはまるでバラバラのパズルのピースが少しずつはまっていくのを見ているようで読んでいてワクワクします。最終的にどんな風にまとまって行くのか先が楽しみです。個人的にはよし子さんと沢田君の話が好きです。

分かってるんです。
わたしより、何年も早くお生まれになっていることは、
もちろん分かってるんです。
でも、新しい作品が出るたびに、その瑞々しい感性に驚かされます。
駅から5分も1編だけでも十分に面白いし、
その一見バラバラな短編を続けて読んでいくことで、
また新しい世界が広がってきます。
ストーリーも面白く、その構成にも意表をつかれて、
ホントに「スゴイ！」と思います。
いつの時代の本も、繰り返し読んでも面白く、
何度読んでも感動し、新たな発見があるのが、
“くらもちふさこ”の魅力の1つだと思います。

ストーリーを追うだけならマンガ喫茶でもできるでしょうが、
これはそういうマンガではありません。

複雑に張り巡らされたプロット、でも難しいとかそういうことはないんです。
手許に置いて何度も何度も繰り返し読みたくなる本です。
熱心なファンやコアなマンガ・ファン以外にもぜひ届いてほしい。

ネタのインパクトや展開の勢いだけがマンガの魅力ではないんだって、
多くの人に実感してほしいですね。
