おじいちゃんな教授とその助手を務める主人公との切なくて暖かい愛を描いた「積極」、
とある結婚式に巻き込まれたいろいろな人の様子をコミカルに描いた「スパイラル　ホリディ」、
昔にタイムスリップして甘酸っぱい恋を再び体験する「風の道」の３本が収録されています。

中でも「積極」がとてもよかった！
なぜ教授は主人公と微妙に距離を置きたがるのか…それが分かったとき涙が止まりませんでした。
教授の台詞一つ一つに重みがあり、思わず自分の今までの恋愛体験まで教授に相談して、諭して頂いてるような気持ちにもなりました。

谷川先生のファンはもちろん、そうじゃない人も、男性でも、読めば心が洗われると思います。オススメです！！

表題作の「積極-愛のうた-」がとにかくいい。
愛しくて愛しくてたまらない。
こんな風に人を思いたい。思えたらどんなにいいだろう。
恋人と別れた主人公に教授がかけた言葉を話を読み終わってから思い出す。
河野裕子さんの短歌がまた……
素っ気ない印象を与えやすいという表紙の横顔と落ち着いた色目が厳粛に作品を受け止める手助けとなり、作品をある種の崇高な物へと仕上げている。
他二作も愛おしくて可愛い雰囲気に溢れています。
特に「スパイラル ホリディ」はコメディタッチで読みやすく、面白かったです。

表題作を含め、3編が収録されています。 個人的には「積極」がやはり一番好きです。
内容に合わないと思われるそのタイトル、最後の方で合点が行く。
そんな「作り」に「ヤラレタ〜ｗ」と思ってしまいました(笑)

連載物よりも読切短編の方が、ぎゅっと濃密に詰まっている。
ぎゅっと詰まっているのに、ふんわりとのどかで癒されたり、切なくさせられたり…そんな感じがする漫画家さんです。
掲載誌が変わっていても、根底は変わらない谷川作品が大好きでりぼん時代から追いかけて早…20年近い？(汗)

どの作品もお勧めです。老若男女問わず、読んで欲しい！
