原作者であるクリスティは、コージーミステリの元祖と扱われる時が少なからずありますが、
実際には、人間の心理描写を恐ろしく冷静に見つめている作品が多くあります。

多分、この作品集に選ばれた作品は、比較的後者かなと思いました。
倦怠感漂うポーズや虚無的な表情が随所に見られるところが、個人的には原作の雰囲気に合っている様に感じました。

ただ、ちょっと換骨奪胎しすぎかなと思った点もありましたので、★5つにはできませんでしたが。
クリスティは非常にファンが多いため、全員を満足させるのは難しいですよね。

あと、当時の服装や小物等も(この作者らしく)丁寧に良く書き込まれていて、それを楽しめるのも、オススメポイントです。

アガサ・クリスティーの作品「チムニーズ館の秘密」のほか「忘れられぬ死」、「ゼロ時間へ」の漫画化です。
あっさりした絵柄がほのぼのとした雰囲気を醸し出しており、ミステリーに興味がなくても楽しく読めます。
近代イギリス上流階級のファッションにもこだわっています。
どの作品も巧みにまとめられているのですが、結末がぼやけてしまっているのが惜しい。
個人的には、他のクリスティー作も漫画化してほしいところ。

「パパトールドミー」でもちょこちょこ出てきた外国のミステリテイスト。
今回は直球で女王クリスティーが原作。
チョコレート、煙草、お酒に続く嗜好品はミステリー!と言いたくなるような作品集です。
