本編については皆さんが既に素敵なレビューをたくさん投稿しているので短編についてレビューを。
ハチクロ以外のお話が２つ収録されていました。それらのレビューです。

１　どらえもん道具のお話
ドラえもんの道具を使って話を作る・・これだけでこんないい話をつくれるチカさんは凄いです。
ドラえもんを知らない人がいても関係なく楽しめます。内容はぜひ単行本で確認を！
２　青い鳥のお話
チカさんは本当に微妙な心理や悩みを描き出すのが得意なのだなと思いました。
この主人公カップルに共感する人も多いのではないでしょうか。

絵もストーリーも安定しています。ほんわかした雰囲気に癒されます。

一番最初の読後感で一番心をしめたのは、感動と切なさ、それとどこかあっけにとられたような感覚でした。
思い入れが強い漫画だった分、ラストへ向けての話運びがどこか駆け足な感じが否めなくて、そう感じてしまったのかなというのと、彼らの楽しそうにしている姿をもっと追いかけていたかったという気持ちがあったからかな？と思っています。
けれど、やはりストーリー通して最後まで登場人物たちはみんな彼ららしいままだったと感じました。
ラストでのそれぞれが選んだ道、結末が読み返していくうちにすとんと一番いいところで落ち着いた気がします。
私はやっぱりこの作品が大好きです。

「ああ、終わってしまうんだ。読みたいけど、読みたくないなあ」最終巻を手にとったときの感想です。作者のウミノさんが後書きで、「ずっと一緒に暮らしていた家族が突然いなくなったようだ」というようなことを書いてますが、私も同じ気持ちです。きっと多くの読者の方々も同じ気持ちなんじゃないかなと思います。登場人物と一緒に、笑ったり、泣いたり、私にとってこれほど共感できる作品は最近無かったので、これで終わってしまうのが、とても寂しいです。登場人物たちの心地良い「やさしさ」にもっと浸っていたかったのだけれど（ときにそのやさしさが他人を傷つけたり、話をややこしくしたりしたけど）。
　最終刊で、みんな、それぞれ自分の生き方を見つけることができたようで安心しました。
