一見、ラブリー＆ハートフルな青春漫画。
だがその実体は、オトナが読んでも泣けてしまう人生哲学漫画かも。
ティーン世代より、ハタチを過ぎ、社会に踏み出し、世の中の不条理を
ある程度知った年齢の人の方が、深く共感できる部分が多いかもしれない。
８巻あたりから、展開がググッとリアルなものになってきましたね。

待ちに待った９巻は、謎めく森田兄弟がクローズアップされています。
彼らのこと、今回のはぐちゃんのこと、個人的に容易に感情移入できてしまう
設定が多くて、最初から最後まで泣きっぱなしでした。
苦しくて痛い。「あー、よりによって、こうくるのか…」と、読後は複雑。
でも、
重い現実を前に、他者との距離をはかることの難しさ、いろんな「選択」を
突きつけられ、戸惑い、苦しみながらも前に進もうとする登場人物達が
今までで一番愛しいと思いました。

この一巻を描くがために、作者は「ハチミツと
クローバー」という話を描き続けたのではないか、
という気にさせられます。

はぐみが、神様とした約束
「描けなくなったら、この命をお返しします」
は、作者も持っている決意のように感じられました。
それ位の強い意志がこの作品には込められています。

野宮さんの言葉「友達なんだろ？」など、心の深い
所に響き、強く揺さぶられるエピソードばかりです。
少しでも多くの方に、手にとって、読んで頂きたいです。

泣きながら読みました。森田さんの過去、そして衝撃的な展開…。悩んだり、情けなくなったり、嘆いたりしながらも、関わっていくということから目を背けず懸命に、そして必死に向き合おうとしているみんなの姿に胸がギュッとなりました。今回のハチクロは全体的に重くて切ないですが、それ以上のことを感じることができると思います。
