どこにでもある一般家庭が舞台、
主人公はごく普通のサラリーマンの夫と専業主婦の妻、幼稚園に通う娘。
ありふれた光景にほっとします。

起こるできごとの数々もとっても身近で、明日には自分に起こることかもしれない。
自分だったらどうするかな？と考えながら読み進められます。

子育ては経験ないけれど、自分にとってぽっかぽかは、
「自分と両親」「自分と夫」（＝家族）という一番大切な関係とまっすぐに向き合いなさい、
と教えてくれる大切な教科書です。
このシリーズを読むたび、自分が中心となりがちな日常生活を改めないといけない！
と反省を繰り返しています。

この本では「娘へ・・」が一番ぐぐっときました。
私の父も私をこんな気持ちで育ててくれたのか、と改めて思い、胸が詰まりました。
