読み始めは７年程前…調度猫を飼い始めて出会った漫画デシタ…
｢別れ｣ってもしかして！？…とドキドキしながら読み進み…
やっぱり泣きました(；＿；)

…最期まで読みたい気持ちもありますが､
エリカっちの｢生きているうちに終らせたい｣と言う気持ちも
とてもわかるので致し方ないかな…

猫好きな方には一番お勧めしていた猫エッセイでした。

…そして私は｢長生きしてね｣と我が家の猫を抱きしめたのです。

18年！続いた猫漫画の最終巻。

始めの方では、子猫だった猫達も、2巻程前から、老いが見え始めていたり、桜沢エリカの子育て漫画と話題が被っている事もあって、最終巻と帯にあり、そうかぁとは思っていましたが。

ネタマンガと違って、猫達の生活や、成長、そして、老いていく事について、作者も漫画やあとがきで書いていて、飼っている人も、飼っていない人もリアルに考えてしまう最終巻でした。

あとがきで、ベンや、あけみが、まだ生きている内に終わらせたいとあったので、もう続かないと思うと残念です。

コミックスで読み続けていましたが、
最終巻ということで驚きました。
なんだか連載がずっと続くような気がしてしまっていたからです。
読んでいくと、何故、連載が終了になったのか納得の出来事です。
ショックでした。
イラストが素敵なので、
ショックがやわらいだのが救いという感じです。
これからも先生ファミリーとネコちゃん達との
仲のよい生活が続くといいなと思います。
連載お疲れ様でした。
またどこかで、番外編でもよめたらいいな。
