日本という国は開国以来、激動の道を歩んできました。 私達の持つ文化の中には世界に誇れるものが多々あります。 しかし伝統芸能、芸術、武道などその他の文化は、列強国により侵食され、そして気がつかぬ間に日本人は欧米人と同じ問題に直面しました。 もがき苦悩する日本人は、文化の融合によりその局面を打開しようとし、ある一冊の本がうまれました。 それがこの本「画太郎先生ありがとう」です。 皆が常に持たなければならない感謝という道徳をこの本はやさしく教えてくれます。 汗水をたらすことがかっこ悪いと思っている方。 破壊というものが怖いから大事に何かをしまいこんでいる方。 いけないことをやってしまい、それに束縛されている方。 すべてをやさしく包み込むこの本は、人生のなかの価値あるものとして、心に残ってゆくことでしょう。

史上最高で最低のスカトロバイオレンス漫画家たる漫☆画太郎の短編集です。
てかこの人長く続いたためしがないんでいつもこれになるんですが、どれをとっても最高です、いや最低です。
特に好きなのは、ババアゾーンと珍八シリーズと…いや全部好きです。
この頽廃的な展開と、意外とほのぼのとしたオチに感動するくらいです。

画太郎先生ありがとう。画太郎作品に触れた読者全員が抱くであろう感謝の気持ちをタイトルに冠した名作。日本が世界に誇る、はやおみやざきもモンキーパンチも画太郎先生の前ではただの漫画家でしかない。画太郎先生はもはや漫画家というジャンルを超越した”クソ漫画家”なのである。孤高の山の頂点を極めた画太郎先生の前途は洋々である。これからも常人には理解不能な抽象画とふざけたギャグを武器に驀進し続けることだろう。２１世紀の現代に再び降臨したピカソ＝漫☆画太郎。俺の気持ちを聞いてくれ・・・いつもおもしろい漫画を描いてくれてありがとう。
