「ゴールデンボーイ」はスーパージャンプに平成4年から平成9年にかけて連載された主人公、大江錦太郎のドタバタ奮戦記漫画。さすらいのお勉強野郎、２５歳フリーターの大江錦太郎が行く先々で巻き起こす様々な騒動が主。どの話も錦太郎の奮戦記というか旅する先々で多分野に渡る様々な職業の知識を猛烈に吸収していきながら、いきすぎて暴走していく過程を描いていて面白い。しかしながら筋とはかけはなれたディテールの細かさに辟易する人も多いかもしれない。その本巻、気ままなフリーター・大江錦太郎は、とある町のコンビニで働いていた。その日に起こる出来事が全て“お勉強”の対象である錦太郎は、バイト中もお客さんをよーく観察。すると、少女が万引きをして・・・

　金剛寺との対決から一旦離れ、また読切が続きます。
作者はほとんど全体の筋を考えずに作品を書いているので
しょうか？楽しめればそれでいいかも知れませんが
テーマがよくわかりません。
この巻は読まなくても後の内容についていけます。
