ドラマ化で一層知名度を上げましたが
読んだ事の無い男性でも元々は名前ぐらいは知っている事でしょう。
この漫画は女の子にとっての「ドラゴンボール」です。
戦闘シーンが無い代わりに
少女漫画の王道的展開をこれでもかというくらいに繰り出し続け
かつ読者を飽きさせないストーリーの上手さがあります。

漫画というのは次のページをめくるワクワク感が魅力ですが
そういう点でも良く出来た作品だと思います。
そしてなによりキャラクターに魅力があるのが
この作品の最大のヒットの要因なのではないかと。

平凡な家庭の女子高生が場違いのセレブ高校で繰り広げる
御曹司軍団との恋と対決。
そんな主人公つくしはどこにでも居そうな女の子ですが
逆境に負けない名前通りの雑草精神を持っています。
そんな彼女がイケメン御曹司達を「逆・両手に花」に持つ姿に
読者は憧れ、感情移入していくことでしょう。

この完全版は、当時のカラー原稿をそのまま再現したものです。
全20巻との事ですが、まだ完結していません。
すぐに最後まで読みたい方は、コミックス版をおすすめします。
こちらはいい紙を使っているので
大事に保存したい方にお勧めですね。

面白いです。胸きゅんです。ドラマも気に入ってます。でも、一つだけ嫌なのは…
物語の最初のほうに花沢類が「子供のころ、両親が厳しかったせいで自閉症になり、藤堂静香のおかげで治った」というエピソード。
自閉症は生まれつきの脳の障害で、精神病でも引きこもりでもありません。まして、親のせいではありません。昔の誤った認識に基づいてかかれたのだろうけれど、大ヒット作で多くの人（特にこれからの若い人）が読むものだけに気になります。
長い時間をかけて自閉症の子供を持つ親たちが一生懸命誤解を解こうとしてきたものが、メデｲアの間違った報道で台無しなるとしたら悲しいです。
増刷するなら、その部分は訂正して欲しい…（涙）。

追記：その後の調査で、新しい版は、「自閉症」ではなく、「内向的な性格」に訂正されているらしいとわかりました。良かった…^^；私が見たのは、古い版だったようです。すみませんm(_ _)m

「花より男子」の漫画は初めて買いました。
最初単行本を買うか、完全版を買うか迷ったんですが、
完全版にして正解でした☆★
表紙の絵は書き下ろしでポストカード付、
そして当時のカラー扉も入っています。
超良いです!!
激良いです!!
