こどものおもちゃは、今でこそあまり珍しいものではないですが
大人を手玉に取るようなナマイキ小学生漫画という感じで始まりました
一種のラブコメが中心であった「りぼん」において、この作家（小花美穂
の作品は一種別の雰囲気を持っていたと記憶しています。

もちろん、全体的にコメディでストーリーが進んでいくのですが、

所々重要なシーンではいっきにシリアスになり、大人になった今でも、
漫画に引き込まれます。ネタバレになりますが、
出世後捨てられた主人公が、見つかった母親に
「私を生んでくれてありがとう」（中絶せずに）
と言うシーンでは思わずぐっときました。

これをリアルタイムで読んでいた世代は、
１９８０年代生まれが中心だと思います。

小学生の時にプリクラが登場し、ポケベル
・携帯となった今では当たり前のアイテムが
流行り始めて学級崩壊なんて問題も社会的に問題になりました
モーニング娘もまだいなかったし、チャイドルという感覚も難しかった。

「生まれておめでとう」
セリフのひとつひとつに涙が出てきます
買ってよかったです。
今読むとまた感じが違う。

当時の社会や感覚をさりげなく思い起こさせる漫画だと思います。
アニメにもされたしこの時代の少女漫画を語るときに外せない

有名な作品だと思います。

yurinaさんの言ったとおり、
「産んでくれてありがとう」（中絶しないで）は、思わず泣きました。

サナは一見強く、誰よりも理解して強い子に見えるが、本当は誰よりも純粋で弱い子なんだって思いました。そして羽山との関係も見逃せません、一番よく思うのは羽山、すんごい性格かわったな~ですvvv　でも羽山をかえたのは、サナなんですよね~。とにかくすごく良い話なんでぜったい一度は読んで下さい！！！はっきり言って、読まなきゃ損ですよ！！泣いて、笑って読んで下さい！！！＞＜

雑誌掲載時のカラーページが再現されているということと、書き下ろしの表紙のデザインのかわいらしさに、単行本を持っているにも関わらず思わず買ってしまいました。

小学６年生で芸能界にも片足を突っ込んでいる主人公の倉田紗南のクラスでは若い先生いびりがはやっていて、物語の最初は、そのいびりの中心的存在である羽山秋人と主人公とのぶつかり合いが描かれています。最初は衝突していた二人の関係が徐々に変わっていくのですが・・・。

ギャグシーンは笑えるし、シリアスシーンも恋愛シーンもあり、読んでいて飽きないです＾＾単行本が出たのは10年近く前ですが、今読んでも読みやすく面白い作品だと思います。
