アニメ化もされたマンガです。アイドルとして芸能界で活躍する元気一杯な小学生倉田紗南が主役。これってりぼんで連載してたんだよね…？って一瞬疑うような、始めから学級崩壊がテーマになってます。同じクラスのガキ大将羽山秋人がその首謀者。この二人を中心に話は展開していきます。しかしテーマは重そうに見えて、カラッとしてとんでもない不条理ギャグの連発とテンポの良さで、大笑いして読めるマンガです。しかし時折シリアスな場面も挟み込まれ、その対比が上手いです。読んで損はしないです。子供を主人公に置きながら、大人も充分楽しめるマンガです。そして1巻では羽山の家庭の秘密が…！読まずにいられないマンガです。

　芸能活動している底抜け明るい倉田紗南。しかし学校はただ今学級崩壊真っ最中。主犯の羽山は手のつけられない悪童で、下手な大人も迫力負けしている。危うきに近寄らずと思っていた紗南も、さすがに堪忍袋の緒が切れる日が来た。まずは弱みを握ってやろうと、下校後の羽山の後を尾行したのだが・・・。

　全編これギャグといってもいいノリなのに、次々出てくる問題は深刻そのもの。何年経っても色あせない名作です。滅茶明るかったアニメとは途中で話が分かれてますが、マンガの方の、暗いトンネルを抜けた後の結末はいいですよ。ぜひご一読を！そして泣いちゃってください。

アニメも結構おもしろいです。ギャグマンガ日和と同じ人が監督しているので、ギャグが活かされています。小花美穂さんは漫画なのにシリアスな部分をうまく扱います、だから軽さがありません。重いところはほんとうにずしっときます。りぼんの本だから小中学生向けではあるんですけど、年齢とわず通用する作品だと思います。
この作品にこめられたものを、きっとまとめて一言メッセージにするなら「元気にいきろよ」ってことだとおもう。
今は完全版も売っているそうです。
