　第五巻の見どころはディオとジョナサンの、ディオの館での対決の終焉・そしてハネムーン船上での最後の決戦。
　あまりにも哀しいジョナサンの死ですが、次に始まる第二部のジョセフの底抜けの明るさに救われます。「スカートめくりてーなァ」ｗ

　第一部が終幕となり第二部が始まる五巻。

　あれほどまでに壮大なストーリーがわずか五巻で完結していたことに、いまさらながら驚嘆せざるを得ません。

　そして、特にファンの間でも評価の高い第二部が始まります。一部の主人公・紳士ジョナサンとは、一見似ても似つかないちゃらんぽらんなしかし「やるときはやる」、二部の主人公・ジョセフ。
　二部のストーリーは、そんなジョセフの性格をあらわしたように、軽妙なタッチでありながらもシリアスに締めるところは締める、そんな印象を受けます。
　個人的には、一番「泣ける」のが、この二部でした。

この第５巻で宿敵ディオとの戦いに決着をつけたジョナサン。しかし犠牲になったものは多く、とても哀しい結末をむかえる。

時は流れ１９３８年、アメリカを舞台に第２部がはじまる。二代目ジョジョはジョナサンの孫で、その名もジョセフ・ジョースター。口が悪く、一見いいかげんな男に見えるが、実はとっても心の優しいいい男。それはこの先読んでいけばわかるでしょう。

第２部で重要なのは、石仮面の秘密が明かされ、いよいよ真の力を発揮するということ。さらに強くなった敵にジョジョの『波紋』は通用するのか？二代目ジョジョの新しい冒険もハラハラドキドキさせてくれること、間違いなしです！
