　「月のしっぽ」に関連のある作品です。
　この作品では、傷だらけで倒れている所を助けられ、しかし記憶喪失で全てを忘れてしまった『かぐや』と、岡崎城の警護をしている『半三』の物語です。アクションあり、ラブシーンありと、盛り沢山。ただ、シリアス傾向が強いので、笑いが少し欲しいなと思いました。

　脇役では、伊賀の里に暮らす、「月のしっぽ」でもお馴染みの『半蔵さま』も出演されていますよ。

「月のしっぽ」の前編となる「月の吐息 愛の傷」。
織田信長の娘 叉羅が記憶喪失になり、敵とも知らずに徳川家に仕える半三に恋をするが、やがて叉羅の記憶が戻り･･･。

「月のしっぽ」を先に読んでいた私は、半三さまのイメージ＝ちゃらんぽらん…だったのですが、「月の吐息~」ではかなり真面目!?なのでビックリしました。
また後半には、「月のしっぽ」のヒーロー半蔵さまが出てきます。しかしここでの半蔵さまは･･･強引に夫婦の勤めをしようとする人でした(^^;)

「しっぽ」ファンならば、「吐息~」もかなりお勧め! 「しっぽ」のようなコメディ調ではありませんが、上田先生ならではのサスペンスな展開が面白かったです!!

意外なストーリーがあったんだなと感心しました。
しかし…
やっぱり忍者好きの私からすれば、若干忍びとしては甘いのでは？と思います。
少女マンガだから恋愛あってなんでしょうけど（笑）
叉羅が城に忍び込む辺りはかっこよかったです。
半蔵様びいきの私からすれば、彼の扱いは切なすぎだと思いますが…。
短編としては申し分のない内容なので、良いのではないでしょうか。
