今年前半の新書で一番面白かったかもしれません。

小出監督の対人関係の考え方、テクニックが書かれています。
特に部下（選手）の統率術は一見の価値あり。
具体的なテクニックは見事というしかありません。
ここで気づいたのですが、
小出監督教育者としての視点は100％教育者。
だから選手がついてくる、育つのでしょう。

小出監督が凄いのは褒め方。
一人一人と見つめる視線とそこから長所を探り当てて、
長所を伝える、その具体性に富んだドバイスが満載。
参考になりました。

更に指導の本質にも踏み込んでいます。
人の気持ちを汲み取る、夢を信じて語る。
指導の場面の威厳、迫力をもつなど、
インスパイアされる内容です。

おまけに気さく。
偉人であるはずでが、その気配すらない。
なかなかできることではなりません。

このギャップ。小出監督の魅力に繋がっていると思います。
最後のQ&A。人柄が出ています。

『愛のコムスメ操縦術』〜彼女たちをやる気にさせる方法〜

タイトルだけ読めば、ホストの接客術マニュアル本かとおもいますが、ちがいます。
著者は小出監督。
高橋尚子など、多くのマラソンラナーをそだてた、あの人です。

ある意味、ホストかも知れません。また、父親であり、兄であり、監督であり、教育者であり、恋人であり、、、

言葉を武器に、選手の限界を引きだす、名監督です。

それにしてもタイトルは、？？？
トップランナーでさえ、コムスメになってしまう、愛という名の操縦術。
ということだと思いますけど。
しかも、タイトルの”術”とサブタイトルの”方法”がかぶっています。

きっとこんなことを思うボクは、監督にもなれないし、女性にも持てないと思います。

小出氏自身の長年の経験に基づく指南書。
「マラソン」そして「教育」を心から愛するが故に、氏が“体で”学んだことが書かれている点が素晴らしい。
“操縦法”とはあるが、決して“小手先”の技術ではない。
だから、仕事を愛していない人間が“ハウツー本”として手にとっても意味はないだろう。
「好きなこと」を追求する監督を改めて羨ましく思った。
