週刊プレーボーイの名物コーナーの人生相談。大きな特徴は実際に相談者に会って話を聞いている点。
このため、相談者とリリー氏のやり取りが光っている。
結果的に回答は常識的なものに落ち着くものの、会話の途中の内容が非常に面白い。リリー氏の例え話や質問の返し方は一流である。

「男の相談」と「女の相談」、「ある人からの相談」に分けられているが、女の相談はセックスに関連するものが大半なのが特徴。
また、ある人とは田代まさしと堀江貴文なのが興味深い。

リリー氏の作品は読んだことがないが、こんな面白い会話をする人の作品を是非読んでみたくなった。
値段も手頃でお薦め。

著者のエッセイや対談の本はどれも気に入っているので今回も楽しく読めた。

個人的には、相談者の写真とかも載せてくれたら面白かったのになとか思う。相談者のプライバシー上厳しいのだろうけど。
会って初めてわかるものがあると書いてある以上、相談者はどんな雰囲気でどのような服装の人々なのだろうとかすごく気になった。

相談に来る人はたいていぶっとんでいて、こんな人も世の中にいるのだなあと。
自分だったらこの人にどんな返しをするだろうかそんなことも考えつつ、
意外にだったのは、リリー氏がすごくまともな人のように思えてきたこと。
人生相談って大変ですね。だからリアルで面白い。

これは総勢４５人の男女が直接リリー氏と会い、悩み事を相談するという内容の本です。
これだけ多くの人々が登場するので、１人か２人は自分と似たメンタルの持ち主が必ずいると思います。私自身も、もし自分がリリーさんに何か相談したら、多分コレと似たようなことを言われるだろうな〜と心にひっかかるお言葉が５コぐらいありました。
もちろん、声を出して笑ってしまう箇所は満載です！氏のエッセイがお好きな方ならきっと買って後悔なしでしょう！
