前作より、内容が深く文章がうまくなっている感じで面白い。

不覚にも、泣いてしまいました。
家族が好きな人、家族が嫌いだけど気になる人に読んでほしい作品。

全４編からなります。
堀田家の１年を描いてます。
冬には赤ちゃんが置き去りにされ、
春には恋のバトルが
夏には幽霊が
秋には新しい命が。

どの話も心があったかくなり
胸がキューンとなる。
特に夏の話は本当に涙が。
勘一の言葉にグッと来ました。

大家族の物語なのに、
家族みんながちゃんと存在感が大きくて
（小説の中では紺の存在感が薄いなんてありますが）
ちゃんとキャラが描ききってあるのがいいですよね。
これからは登場人物も増えていくし、
さらに大騒ぎになっていくような気がしますが
もっともっと続編を読みたい、と思う作品です。

　シリーズ物（‥になってしまったらしい。）第2作。
　前作にくらべて、テンポが速く、この一冊で一年過ごしてしまった。
　大体、シリーズ物は月日の流れがあいまいにされることが多いのに、きっちり中学校の入学、
出産など、折り目折り目のエポックが描かれていて、次回作がどうなるのか、ちょっと心配。
　ま、大きなお世話だけれど‥。
　大勢の登場人物にも慣れたせいもあったか、今回は非常に読み易い。
　楽しく読めて、ちょっとホロリ。場面の展開、変化も多くて前作より数段出来が良い。
　安心してオススメできる、一冊。
