この著者の別のプロレス本でも書かれていた方がいますが、「パクリ・取材無し（出来ず）・情報源は２ｃｈ」というのは有名です。
（加えて経歴もかなり怪しい部分があるようですが）
「いかにもすごい事のように」出しているブログのようなもの。

初めてプロレスとかプロ格闘技に興味を持たれた方にとっては、「一つの角度から見た情報」程度にはなる本なのでしょうが、著者をライターとして見た場合、正直評価には値しません。

この本に載っている情報自体が全て嘘、と言っている訳ではありません
が（元ネタがあるものが多いから）、ある程度業界を知っている方に
とっては、金をもらっても読みたくない本なのでは？

プロレス界に衝撃をもたらした「シュート活字」
その第一作がこの「プロレス・格闘技、縦横無尽。」である。

プロレスは全て結末が決まっている格闘芸術。だからこそ素晴らしい。
というのは今では当たり前になっていることですが
これを日本で初めて文章として発表したのが、著者・田中正志。

当然夢を持ち続けたいプロレスファンの中からは反発の声が上がりましたが
それと同時に熱狂的なフォロアーも生み出した名著であります。

本は分厚く、小さな文字で二段組の構成。
著者が、そのプロレス愛にまかせて書きたいことを書き綴ったという
ある意味乱暴な本ではあるのですが、これを超えるプロレス本は

いまだに出ていないというのが本当のところだと思います。

一家に一冊常備して、あ!なたもプロレスの虜になりましょう！
