『となり町戦争』がどうも消化不良だったので、 もう１冊読んでみようという気になりました。
短編集で、どれもシュールと言うか、不条理な話。
発想はおもしろいけど、表題作も、まあまあ。
ただ、この作品の中で、どうしてこの話をタイトルに持ってきたのか、と思うと首をひねります。
ベストではないから。タイトルがおもしろいだけで、ちょっと商業思考で、それを許す作者が、ちょっと気に食わない。
ただし、最後の短編、『送りの夏』は秀逸。
相当いい作品だと思う。
情景も浮かぶし、人の心の動きがわかる。
すぐ、映像化できそうなくらい構成がしっかりしている。
もう１冊、読んでみよう。そう考えると、はまりつつあるのかな。

いろいろなジャンルの三崎ワールドが楽しめるジャンルだと思う。
「二階扉をつけてください」、「バスジャック」、「動物園」の３作品は、情報力や国家権力の本質をメインで描かれるタイプの文章。
「しあわせな光」、「二人の記憶」、「雨降る夜に」、「送りの夏」の４作品は、愛や死といったスタンダードなテーマを三崎ワールドで描く作品になっている。

個人的には、タイトルにもなっている「バスジャック」が好きだった。違和感ある文章の中から、ジワジワと沸いてくるスピード感とスリリング感、なぜかよく分からないワクワク感がたまらなかった。

十分に満足できる短編集だと思った。

若い新人が文壇をにぎわせている今日このごろ。
この作者は、着実に地歩を固めている作家だと思います。

正直「となり町戦争」があまりにすごくて、その分星がひとつ少なくなりましたが、
それぞれの短編すべてにアイディアが詰まっていて、そのどれにも類まれなるオリジナリティを感じます。
なんていうか、自分の頭でちゃんと考えてるって感じ。
感覚だけでもなく、頭でっかちでもない。
不思議な読後感の味わえる数少ない作家です。

「なにこれ〜〜〜」って言いながらも、気がついたらはまってるっていうか（笑）。
ちょっと乙一さんに近いかな？
海外だと、ディッシュとか、スタージョンの時代のSFを思い出します。
今後も、新刊が出たら読みたい作家です。
ちなみに、私は「二階扉をつけてください」と「動物園」が好きでした。
